My goal through my bodies of work is to try and explore the means to get to the result. The processes used in sculpture, ceramics, and metals is what has brought me into art itself. I try to explore all the different techniques used with these mediums and create work that is beautiful in thats techniques formate.

Spherical Body
The current body of work that I am creating is based off of traditional forming and raising techniques used on metal. I will be taking flat circular sheets of metal and raise and form them into a sphere like shape. From that shape I will then take a look at ways to "finish" each piece. I find the spherical shape to be the most intriguing because to me it is the opposite of a flat sheet. The body of work is consisting of three pieces formed and enameled and three others that have been formed and finished with patination. There will be an attempt to have photos that reflect the process, but there will be pictures of all the pieces as they are finished. I should be finishing about one every week or so, so updates should be coming soon there after.
